I feel much better about my stats this month as it has clearly improved. While I adjust to the new school year and have finally gotten my grip on it, I know how to manage my time better. I notice that I am much better at fitting reading in to my routine, which should have always been a given. I have also taken my advice from September and always read during my ride home on the bus. There is always room for improvement however, and I would love to fix it to the best of my capabilities.
I loved Pride and Prejudice so much that I found myself taking in the book as much as possible. This includes taking as long as a month to finish it! While at first the language was a little hard to get used to, it in no way affects how fast I read a page. I just loved it so much I found myself reading sections over and over again!
I am currently not reading any books, but plan to start on November 1st. The books I have right away in my line up is:
- Persuasion by Jane Austen (251 pages)
- Mansfield Park by Jane Austen (412 pages)
My goals for reading include:
- Reading and finishing at most 3 books in November
- Increase my stats by 2 pages or more to have a reading rate of 25 pages!!
- Read every day instead of missing a few days here and there
- Read at least one other work by Shakespeare in the next 2 months
- Read Girl On The Train
