September Reading Ladder

Books I Read:

  1. Anthem by Ayn Rand (105 pages)
  2. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald (183 pages)

Weekly Reading Rate: 72 pages

Daily Reading Rate: 10 pages

Is that… Do I hear booing in the distance? Yes, I think so…

I am not very happy with my daily reading rate. At all.

I did not plan on reading so little this month, and I definitely don’t plan on it again. While I feel as though the books I read were very sophisticated and compelling books, it still isn’t enough. I realize that I did read more than what is on the list, but *cough* fan-fiction isn’t a very advanced way of increasing my learning. I would like to say that science was preoccupying my mind too much, and while it may be true, it is still no excuse. I should be able to take the time on the bus, for example, to read my books and focus on homework when I get home. I will be using this time to my advantage from now on forward.

My goal is to have a daily reading rate of 30 next month. I also plan to read at least 3 books, and to make sure that each book is more than 150 pages.
